Please read the entire listing before booking. Enjoy a cozy lower-level suite w/ fantastic mountain views, private entrance & parking. We offer a traveler's discount for guests who need a quiet, comfortable, & safe space for the night. You will be staying in our 1 BD/1 Bath suite. The traveler's rate is $69/night, including the cleaning fee. We ask that check-in is after 6 PM and check-out before 8 AM. We are located 13 miles from Interstate 81 (Carlisle exit) and 15 miles from the Turnpike. Our log home sits on five acres with spectacular mountain views! The space is a walk-out basement suite with a living area, kitchenette, full bath w/ shower, and large bedroom. The suite is entirely private from our living space. The door to the upstairs remains locked during your stay. Joe and I live upstairs with our yellow lab, Boone. We are considerate of our guests; however, you can and should expect normal family noise and occasional bark. :) The suite is the entire lower level of our home and is directly below our living room, kitchen, and home office. We both work from home, so you may hear us walking around, talking, etc. Please keep this in mind when considering our space. We welcome pets; please let us know ahead of time if you will travel with your pet. No pet fee; we ask that your pet stays on a leash while outside and you clean up after them; doggie bags are provided. :) Cellular service is spotty, so we provide high-speed internet service. You may need to turn on cellular calling to make calls/receive texts. Guest access: The entire lower-level suite is yours to use. There is a smart lock on the entry door for your convenience. Feel free to use the firepit area (wood provided) and the front and back decks. We have some pretty amazing views and sunsets! There is a small propane grill for guests outside of the guest entrance. Propane, bbq tools, and foil are provided. Other things to note: The cottage is an entirely smoke-free/Tobacco-free space. You can stop smoking in the outside areas, and please use the labeled receptacles that are provided. ** For security purposes, we have outdoor cameras. The cameras facing the driveway, under the deck, and on the front porch will be deactivated during your stay **
