Welcome to our amazing family barn, a cozy & comfortable retreat nestled on the edge of the Brecon Beacons National Park. This lovely property offers the perfect blend of rustic charm & modern amenities, making it the ideal spot for families looking to relax & unwind in a peaceful setting with the stunning views of Carreg Cennen Castle and the mountains on the doorstep. The expansive garden is perfect for children to play & explore while the adults relax on the patio or in the hot tub! The property is light and spacious which gives it a wonderful family, communal space. The kitchen is at the heart of the property which is open plan and leads to the dining room and living area. We have a games/ toy area which is juts off from the kitchen and the gym leads off from the living area. There are 3 bedrooms downstairs with bathrooms next to each. The 4th bedroom is upstairs. There's also a small WC and utility at the front of the house. Things to enjoy outdoors.. Apart from the breathtaking views, we have a large lawned area which is enjoyed by our 2 boys as a football pitch.. 2 football goals and many footballs included, it's also used for family cricket matches! There is a sunken trampoline, a double rebo swing and around the side of the property is a mini wooden adventure play are which includes monkey bars, balance beam, stepping blocks etc.. Or if you'd prefer something more relaxing we have a hot tub to take in the views and unwind :)

This beautiful barn is situated half a mile from Carreg Cennen castle, within the spectacular Brecon Beacons National Park. There are many footpaths that can be accessed from the house to take in the amazing scenery. The lovely market town of Llandeilo is 10 minutes away and is frequently highlighted as one of the most attractive towns to visit in the UK. On the outskirts of Llandeilo is Dinefwr Castle and Newtown House National trust site - with many beautiful walks within the park.
Brecon Beacons National Park - We are situated on the Western edge of the national park and there are are lots of activities to explore:
Pen y Fan - The highest mountain in South Wales is one hour away. 4 mile walk up and down the mountain (approx. 2hrs for a family walk)
Llyn y Fan - Mountain walk (around 45 minutes) up to a beautiful lake
Beaches - A number of Pembrokeshire beach resorts are around an hour away - Tenby and Saundersfoot being the most popular destinations!!
Pembrey beach and country park offers a lot for families to do: There's an adventure park, long beach, coastal path for bikes/walking, ski centre, crazy golf, tobagganing and horse riding.
Large towns and cities nearby include Swansea, Llanelli and Carmarthen - all around 30-40 minutes from the house. Lots of family activities available here:
- Climbing - Bowling - cinema - Ninja Warrior UK - Trampolining - Indoor Play - Swimming pools - Water parks - adventure parks - skateboarding/scooter parks - museums - wetlands centre - paddle boarding - canal rides
There is a golf course 10 minutes from the property - Glynhir golf club and numerous other courses in the area.
Food shopping - Tesco, co op, Lidl, Aldi etc all within 10 minutes. Unfortunately, there is no shop in the village.
Eating out - Plenty of family friendly places to eat in the area:
Llandeilo (10 minutes)
Llandybie (10 minutes)
Cross Hands (15 minutes)
Carmarthen (30 minutes)
Swansea (35-45 minutes)
Llanelli (35 minutes)
