Très bonne communication avec Esteban qui n’a pas hésité à répondre à toutes nos questions/problèmes. Maison très charmante, nous aurions aimé rester plus longtemps !

Beautiful view, serene setting, private, quiet, calm, and there is hot water! A/C units work well, nice amenities, and left us farm fresh eggs, and coconuts! Attentive host and someone on premise to help! For those staying here but going to Hacienda Guachipelin for the adventure tours or going to the national park. Someone who owns property put a random gate up so you have to pay a toll. $1 to $2 per person and takes an hour to get around. If you are not use to traveling on dirt roads in the mountains, be prepared ahead of time. Also for those out of country, prepare your gps in Liberia because their is not good signal in the mountains, curtains need to be updated, and needs to be better secured for bugs such as the bottom of the door and the gap in the doors. Keep in mind if you are staying in the forest of Costa Rica, you are in the wrong place and bugs are inevitable. Gas stove did not work at time of this review. If you are staying as a group, keep the size of beds in mind

I highly recommend Esteban's place for a peaceful, private getaway in Costa Rica! I especially appreciated the well-stocked kitchen equipment, large and firm bed, and gorgeous veranda with chairs and hammocks for relaxing. The pool was a welcome touch as well during hot afternoons. Esteban was helpful and quick to respond to any questions we had. We are glad we came with a 4 wheel drive lifted car as the road was bumpy, as Esteban had recommended - this is very important for future guests. Can't wait to come back with a bigger group!
