Very nice place to stay, good location, remote and quite. The hammocks are very relaxing. We enjoyed our stay very much.

The Green Guyabo is a fabulous property and we thought it perfect. It’s two bedrooms are comfortable with just-right-firmness mattresses and plenty of closet, drawer and shelf space. The breezes made the portable fans unnecessary day and night. The kitchen is well stocked with cooking utensils. Pure water was provided in large jugs and tap water is safe for bathing. This is an off-grid property with solar power and battery storage. Hot water is a bit iffy at times and clear instructions are helpful to make the most comfortable shower experiences. Easy peasy! The hosts Sandra and Federico are fluent English speakers from Spain and were incredibly responsive. Their on site manager, Felix, was fabulous and stopped by every day to assure our comfort. There are two must-do’s within an hour or so from the property: the Rincón de la Viejo Volcano’s La Leona waterfall experience (book a tour with Mario for the best value and guides: $39/person) and Rio Celeste waterfall.
