Great place to stay!

First off, it must be stated that Francisco and his family are warm and welcoming hosts. We felt immediately at home. The property itself is gorgeous! Lots of trees and birds. There's even a small pool fed by a stream. Our bedroom and bathroom were clean. There are two communal kitchen areas. The first is attached to the lodging building, but it's more for breakfast as it contains a kettle, rice cooker, sink and dishes. The second outdoor kitchen is a separate building that contains the fridge and gas burners, pots/pans, dishes, etc. We were really looking forward to spending two nights here. Alas, that was not to be. When we fell asleep at 9PM, everything was tranquil. But our tranquility was shattered at 11PM by the neighbours' dogs. Their barking and baying went on non-stop until 2AM and then gradually abated. We decided to forego our second night. It is unfortunate that our experience was marred by something that is not within Francisco's control.

Personalet var rigtig søde, men sproget var en hindring. Meget hyggeligt og fredeligt sted, men vi blev rådet til ikke at gå en tur i området pga aggressive hunde, og det var rigtig ærgerligt. Det problem bør løses.

The host is super friendly and helpful. The place is clean and well-maintained, in the quiet and scenic hilly region close to the national park and hot springs. Private bathroom. Kitchenette. Swimming pool filled with river water (no chemicals)

We had a nice stay for a total of 3 nights. The room was clean and as shown in the pictures. There is also a daily room service! There are a few rooms that are being rented out so the kitchens (2 in total) are shared by the guests. Though you definitely need to get groceries beforehand (maybe also some oil and spices). During our stay we had great fun getting to know and talking to the other guests. Francisco and the owners were also frequently to be met on the property and easy to contact for any information or other needs. The national park is about half an hour drive away and worth a visit. In general we believe it is a great place to stay for a couple of nights but you definitely need a car (better 4x4) and have have to be up for some socialising. The shower is cold water only but it was hot anyway so we didn’t mind.. The price is great for what is being offered (clean rooms, nice pool, nice views, friendly people). Pura Vida Francisco!
