This was an excellent farm stay experience. We loved the farm animals and the wildlife encounters. It was private and beautiful. Paul was a wonderful host. He was patient with my son and explained everything to him. My son (12 years) had a ball! He loved the lake and bushland. Once outside, it was hard to get him back into the house. Thank you, Paul, for a brilliant time.

Old Minton is an amazing place. The location of the stay was completely disconnected from the world. The amount of entertainment of vast, including an option for everyone. The rooms were clean and large, with heating, which is ideal for winter. The kitchen was fully equipped with appliances, which is perfect for meals. The bathroom was spacious and clean. There was a fireplace, with a abundant amount of firewood to keep it going in the living room. Old Minton is a great place sealed in the comfort of nature. We will definitely be back soon! 5 stars for sure!
If you are looking for a private and a cosy place, this is the best stay. Kitchen is big and nice and can accommodate a huge family.
Extremely happy with our stay. We managed to check in by ourself. Getting to the place involves getting through 3 closed gate. The first gate is a bit tight to open but just need to find the right angle. The other 2 is easy. The unpaved road leading to the house is not that bad. Just need to go slow. It is only 7 mins to reached the house from the main road. House is neat and tidy. There is firewood and matches next to fireplace to keep the living room warm. You first need to have a basic knowledge on how to start a fire. The electric blanket does their job to keep us warm. We had a bit of problem finding a fuse box as the snowing triggered the breaker. Paul show us that it is located outside the house facing the lake. Love the big kitchen. Perfect for all 11 of us. On the last day, we asked Paul if he can show us some of his animals. He brought a whole pack of sheep to us, which really is an amazing surprise. All of us especially the kids are extremely happy to touch and pet the sheep
