Sheila’s place is exactly how described and feels like home the moment I entered the apartment. Cozy, clean and comfortable. Sheila and Allan have been great hosts, extremely responsive and easy to communicate with. The bed was amazing and I wish I could have stayed longer. Will be back!

Sheila and Allan’s place was clean, cozy and fully equipped with all of the essentials. The hosts are amazing at taking care of their guests. We even saw the Aurora out the windows of the unit. Would definitely and easily recommend this place to anyone coming to Yellowknife for a visit :) Thanks for having us again!

Sheila was a great host, friendly and responsive, and the place is great! Has everything you need and is a pleasant 20min walk to downtown. It's clean and very comfortable. I'll definitely stay here again. Bonus: I've stayed in lots of different Yellowknife Airbnbs over the years and this one is definitely the best for seeing the northern lights!

I’m very glad I booked Light’s Out Suite for our 5D4N stay. Sheila & Allan’s kind gesture to follow up with us proactively and arrange for early check in warmed my heart before our arrival. They provided clear check-in instructions beforehand. The moment we stepped inside the house, we could feel their thoughtfulness in preparing the suite e.g. there were water stored inside the fridge, face & bath towels neatly placed on the bed etc. The first 3 days of our stay were rainy all day and we could only stay inside the house. But we didn’t find it a problem because the suite was so comfortable and cosy with good heater, wifi for work and Netflix for leisure. The kitchenette was well-equipped with utensils and even Nespresso capsules, olive oil etc. Thank you for making our trip memorable. We’ll definitely stay here again for our next trip. P/S: Spotted Aurora outside the house on 2 nights out of our 4 nights stay. The main reason of our trip here was for Aurora hunting.
