Great house as described on the website! The street was a cute road of houses. There wasn't much in the immediate surroundings for walking, but it was a short drive to high street and downtown Durham. No issues getting uber/lyfts. Justin was helpful and texted back immediately when had to ask him a question.

Justin's place was great and well worth the money. Unfortunately when we arrived after a full day in the car, the lock code had not been changed to what we were expecting, so we were stuck outside for a full 30 minutes while trying to reach Justin and calling AirBnB support to intervene. He did get back to us relatively quickly but we were very frustrated in the meantime. Also the main living room TV simply would not turn on during our stay. Overall our stay was lovely and I would recommend the house for larger groups. All five bedrooms were beautiful, the kitchen was well-stocked, and there was plenty of room to spread out.

The biggest problem we encountered was checking into the house. The code the owner gave us was incorrect and he was very slow to respond (almost 1 hour later). When we got into the house the three main bedrooms on the second floor were all locked. There were no instructions on how to access them and it was strange they were locked in the first place as we had rented out the entire house. We had to reach out to owner again and he did provide us the codes for the bedrooms. Overall, the place is a lot smaller than it looks in the pictures. Cheap upgrades. It was also not the cleanest and there were small things like food/drinks leftover in the fridge, no trashcan in the third floor bathroom, no curtain/frosted glass in the window in the second floor shower, just little things that added up during the experience. The couch and beds were not comfortable. Overall, would not personally stay there again and would not recommend.
