Our large family get together with my brother from Australia and his family was very special and Ralphs place was perfect. The house is amazing. In the middle of nowhere but so peaceful ,beautiful countryside and spacious and very well equipped. The beds were so comfortable . The large dining room was great for us as we could all sit together for meals . The games room was very popular with the younger generation. Would certainly recommend for a family get away.

The photos of the house do not the house justice. It is amazingly spacious with loads of spaces for people to spread out. The kitchen is very well equipped and the dining table was lovely to be able to sit around in the evening for the evening meal. I have a feeling that we will be back at some point since it definitely exceeded my expectations and had a lovey homey feel about it.

Auchenbrack is an incredible find! It was the perfect place for a family reunion for eleven of us, aged 2 - 75, including teens. The house has plenty of bedrooms, all of them comfortable and cosy and all the facilities you need for a fantastic stay. We enjoyed being both indoors in the different living spaces and outdoors in the grounds, which are spectacular (two of the bedrooms are in a separate building which is in the grounds right by the main buliding). We also greatly enjoyed the surroundings, including fun activities nearby (by nearby, I mean around an hour's drive). Ralph, Cara, Dolf, Caroline and the team were extremely kind and responsive. Highly recommended if you love nature, peace and quiet.

We booked this house for a gathering of 4 families with grown up children. It was a great space, lots of nooks and crannies, as well as spaces big enough to gather and dine altogether. Lovely area for walking among beautiful scenery.
