This was my first time staying at an Air bnb. I must say the standard was set very high. The vibe of the place just shimmers with authenticy. It felt like traveling through time. You can really get a sense for the passion and love the hosts have for life. Absolutely recommend!

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay! I can’t say enough about my hosts and the green oasis they have lovingly crafted. Toro and Matt greeted me, and after a quick tour left me to explore. I was impressed by the eco- friendly elements (grey-water bathroom and washer, Arizona dryer 🌞🌬) and the salvaged, upcycled materials used artfully to rehab this old adobe, not to mention the private, peaceful, convenient location. Strolling thru the historic barrio is a treat in itself and it’s a short walk to 5 Points and downtown. In short, I found my favorite place to stay in Tucson and as I travel to the city often, I will definitely stay here again. Thank you for sharing your unique space, Toro!

This was the perfect spot for my quick trip to Tucson. The hosts were so nice and interesting to talk to. This is not your typical cookie cutter IKEA Airbnb. Toro and Matt are both artists and collectors of beautiful old things so it’s a very cool place with lots of love put into it, and the earthen plaster walls are really special. It was quiet and comfortable, easy to park, and walkable ro 5 Points (the best breakfast spot!). Would definitely stay again if I come back to town.

Toro and Matt were the best hosts ever — right there to welcome me, get me settled and answer any questions about the place, which is hands down the best I’ve stayed in the southwest. Everything about the space reflects the care they obviously took to make it beautiful, comfortable, functional, and sustainable. Just gorgeous. I really loved the outdoor area as well, with its large enclosed yard and little nooks to hang out with the desert plants in the shade. Slept like a rock there and really enjoyed the short walk to lots of local food spots like 5 Points Restaurant or The Coronet. Walking through the Barrio is dreamy and never got old. I hope I get to stay here again sometime soon!

This beautiful place in Barrio Santa Rosa is in the middle of historic Tucson. this adobe was in the perfect central location to access all of the shows. Within a very near walk or drive were many restaurants and other attractions Tucson has to offer. The adobe is comfortably situated for two close friends or a couple. I went with a dear friend and we each had our own bed and didn’t mind walking through to access the bathroom at the front of the space. Our hosts are artists and you can see this from the moment you arrive. From the garden with its lovely desert plants, the funky beautiful furnishings- to the antique materials repurposed to great effect. We loved the mud plastered walls the tinted concrete floors, the vintage furniture and fixtures. The kitchen was generously stocked with what you would want or need. This is an old style peaceful air bnb with the owners on the property- this space is lovingly cared for. Perfect for creative mature guests a quiet oasis in central Tucson.
