Staying with Attallah was the best part of my week long solo trip through Jordan. The caves are such a unique experience. You’re right inside of Petra. Attallah’s company was just the cherry on top. He said, “come as a guest leave as a friend” and that’s exactly how it felt. He is so kind and so attentive. Anything you need he is right there. There were plenty of blankets & heaters for the cold nights. The meals he cooked were the best I had in Jordan. The shower is hot. The rooms are clean. I’ll definitely be back to Jordan again and I’ll be spending the entirety of my trip here no doubt.

This is a luxury glamping experience! There is a fully functioning clean bathroom with running water and you are literally sleeping right behind the Monastery inside of Petra. Great way to have an authentic Bedouin experience & support a Bedouin owned business while also having a high level of comfort in one of the most beautiful laces in the world. Highlight of our trip to Jordan! Attallah was warm, welcoming, and an excellent cook. He is incredibly interesting and intelligent and we loved hearing his stories of growing up in Petra and traveling around the world. Truly magical, once in a life time experience.

My husband and I had an excellent experience. We felt welcomed, treated like family, and perfectly cared for. The cave experience was exciting and unique, but interacting with Shahin and his family, and experiencing Shahin's cooking, were some of the highlights of our trip. A little off the beaten path and well worth it! We cannot say thank you enough :)

This was exactly what we were looking for. A unique experience of staying in a cave passed down through generations, located remotely within the park bounds. The facilities were better than we expected and we had a great night's sleep as it was so peaceful. Can really recommend the sunrises & sunsets. Atallah was very helpful and provided us with everything we could need, from power supplies to directions throughout the Wadi. It was truly a pleasure to stay at his home.

Attallah's place was amazing. He arranged everything so that his brother Shahin took care of all the details. Shahin has been one of the best hosts I have had on my travels! He is very communicative and dedicated to make guests feel welcome. Thanks to Shahin, I received all the necessary information about the area and things to do, he took into account how to adjust my schedule and help me to setup my plans. Due to my inexperience , I bought Petra's tickets for one day instead of more days, he made all the necessary steps so that I could exchange my ticket for the correct one. Spending the night in the cave was a unique experience. I was alone in my stay but I felt super good in a cozy and tranquility night that was a little bit cold and windy but accompanied with unparalleled starry sky and a warm well prepared cave. From the cave to the Petras back entrance there is no more than 20 minutes walking. Once there, in less than 45 minutes you are in the presence of "The Monastery", one of the most iconic sites but at the same time less seen by people that enter through the other side of the archaeological area. I also had the opportunity to spend a night in the Bedouin village manage by Attallah and his brother, and there with best conditions (shower, hot water, delicious local food and tea) I was also able to enjoy the Bedouin hospitality and be able to see Little Petra incredible landscapes. I definitely recommend this experience if you are looking for two days Petras adventures.
