The room itself was very nice and as-described, but there were issues with check-in and the surrounding area. The host did not send check-in details the day before, like she said she would. We had to wait outside for her response to our calls and messages before checking in. While there is a nice speakeasy downstairs and a good brewery/pizza place within walking distance, the surrounding area is loud and busy. This includes a number of church bells that go off randomly and a large houseless population right out front that were panhandling whenever we came and went from the Airbnb. While everything was clean, the bathroom in the unit smelled like someone had smoked in it. All in all, it was a nice Airbnb, but the described issues made it a less comfortable experience.

Really nice comfortable 3rd floor apartment with a sweet swanky bar on the ground floor. Internet is fast which is always awesome Soap provided but no shampoo afaik? Chairs could use some tightening (I thought they were swivel chairs but they aren't) Late arrival (10:30PM) freaked me out a bit about the neighborhood my first night, but that could have happened in any city. The drug epidemic is real.

It was super cool inside the apartment, and there’s plenty of great food and drinks within walking distance! It’s definitely a busy area with the nearby police, fire department, and hospital, but we found the environment to be a nice change from home. Plus it’s pet friendly! (All of the locals will love your dog)

This place is 10/10! The actual unit itself is super cute & cozy. Has all the necessities! Area is not amazing but it is close to other things & the speakeasy downstairs is so cute! I want to live here!
