We had a fantastic time enjoying sitting on the back deck and making friends with a chipmunk who liked to visit once in a while. It is a nice little getaway if you want to relax in nature. the place was nicely decorated and great to unwind in. We unfortunately arrived after the pool heater was shut down, and the hot tub was closed, so we never got the full experience we wanted, but we made the best of it! If you are stopping through Shelburne, definitely give this place a try. Hosts are wonderful people.

upon check in it was evident that Shante takes pride in her space. It was super clean and so so adorable. We booked Shante' place for 2 nights of our honeymoon. The pool was great the first day, it was a beautiful sunny day. The weather didn't cooperate for the second day. 😔. Shante made us feel right at home from the get go. A nice little surprise left for us to start celebrating, which was muchly appreciated. Only downfall was the hot tub wasn't able to be used, but nothing that had to do with Shante it was Nova Scotia Powers fault. Beautiful. Cozy, and charming and will definitely be back. Thanks for a wonderful start to our honeymoon.

My partner and I booked a 2 night trip at the cabin and it was such a beautiful location! We enjoyed the nature and quiet setting, while spending most of our time on the patio or in the pool! I’d definitely recommend booking at the cabin and seeing the beautiful location! I’ll be looking to book another visit soon :)

There was an issue with the hot tub. I learned of this myself when visiting the ad to prepare for my trip. When I questioned the host, it sounded as though it was resolved the night before departure. We drove 4.5 hours to this AirBNB because it offered 1) hot tub 2) pool 3) fire pit. 20 minutes before arrival I learned the hot tub wasn’t available for our trip. I was offered a full refund but was already minutes away at this point. Then I was offered tax free. Which I accepted. But I would like others to know of my experience and extreme disappointment. Everything else was great.

Place is nice, but quite small. It's certainly a classic A-frame, insofar as I (being 5'6") bumped my head multiple times on the ceiling upstairs. The master bedroom upstairs doesn't feature a door or wall, so privacy feels fairly limited. The pool and back deck were excellent, the beds were comfortable but the living room was cramped, and the lighting was very mismatched (with some lights not turning on at all) The kitchen faucet was leaking, so we had to use the shutoff valve in the cabinet below to control the tap. Plates and cooking surfaces were mostly clean, but we had to stop into town to buy cleaning supplies. We chose this airbnb for the hot tub a month and a half in advance, but were informed hours before our arrival that it was out of order due to an environmental concern. In lieu of the hot tub, the hosts offered a 15% discount and bottle of wine, which we accepted. Though we did receive the bottle of wine, the hosts have since cut all contact regarding the discount.
