We took our weekend family vacation here and wow! The house is absolutely beautiful, located on the lake which was also stunning with private access by. Aprils home was kid and toddler friendly, our littles loved it. It was incredibly clean and well put together with a lot of thought. It felt like home away from home. Very comfortable and relaxing and had everything we needed, right down to shampoo! Very well maintained home and property. Private dock right off the backyard was perfect. The zip line and swing set were a HUGE hit for our kids and they spent 90% of our trip outside. Kayaks were in great condition, there was a very large selection of life jackets so everyone would find one for themselves comfortably. Large firepit area with chairs that were provided by host made for a relaxing evening. I could go on & on with the good things about location and the host. Thank you for our getaway and we will be sure to book with you again. 10/10 recommend, don’t hesitate. It’s worth it!

It was a unique experience, we were amazed by the place, a cozy space, it met everyone, April was always attentive. There is no doubt that returning to that place would be to have a spectacular time with the family again.

If April would allow me to live here, I would move back to Shelburne in a heartbeat. The location is perfect, not too far out of town and next to the peaceful lake. The area is quiet, and private. The inside is gorgeous, and it was spotless when we arrived. April was so kind and welcoming, she went above and beyond for me in a time of need (death in family). I want to come back in the summer so I can kayak on the lake, and have a fire. Well worth the money, the place is stocked with anything you would need. The washer is huge, so it was nice to be able to do laundry while I was away from home. Morning Tea outside by the lake, watching the geese on the ice was a pure sign that my gram was still with me. We spent two nights at April’s place and didn’t want to leave! In fact, we’re thinking about booking a few nights in the summer. The trees and lake were snow covered while we were there and was so pretty. It would certainly be beautiful any time of the year, but thinking about booking in the summer to enjoy spending some time on the lake in kayaks and canoes that were available. It’s such a nice, cozy house with a beautiful view and peaceful surroundings. The home had everything we needed, and the kitchen was very well stocked with cooking essentials and serving dishes. One thing to note- if you’re booking in the winter it may be a good idea to bring along a pair of slippers with you as the floors were quite cold before the house heated up.
