Loved staying at Paola's place in Astoria! The bed was comfortable and the room was clean and quiet. Nice A/C unit on a hot night. I loved the neighborhood and proximity to the subway.

I have stayed with Paola before. When I had to return to New York I didn’t consider staying anywhere else. The price is reasonable, the location is in a safe, trendy neighborhood in Astoria. She lives above and in the back of a popular restaurant, but you cannot hear a thing. There are a number of good restaurants on her street. The air conditioner is nice and cold. There is no tv, if that’s important to you, but the wi-fi is fast, so I just watched a movie on my iPad before I went to sleep in the comfy bed. Paola helped me navigate the subway system. There is an elevated train station just a very quick walk around the corner. It takes you to central Manhattan in about 15 minutes. The best part is that it is the last stop, so you can only go one direction, and you just stay on to the end on your return. I will never stay anywhere else whenever Paola’s place is available.

Great place. Clean and AC in bedroom works great. Easy to enter. Paola was sweet. She told me about local shops and restaurants.
