Cute house, super clean, well stocked kitchen, amazing oveanfront location to take the dogs for beach walks right ouside the back door. Loved being able to have our own fire in the evenings with the firepit. Perfect getaway.

Fabulous ocean front property. If the place was any closer to the breakers it would be too scary ; ) We enjoyed the amenities, the clean environment, the house design with so many large glass windows, easy access, 1 floor, and dog friendly for our two best buddies. Communications were excellent and the place was well prepared when we arrived. Access to the beach was good at low tide, non existent at high tide. There is no direct path from the house but you can find access paths along the beach front, though most are marked 'No Access'. If you are agile, you can easily climb down the rock barrier out front. The only thing I'd critique is that it would be nice to have a little higher quality bed linens, they were tired.

Gorgeous setting! Probably our favorite airbnb to date. It was well appointed and comfortable. We couldn’t have been happier waking up to the beautiful ocean view each day!

The pictures say it all! This cottage was remodeled tastefully and a picture-perfect view to watch the stormy waters. So nice to have the three bedrooms, and while cozy, we. Appreciated the toasty heating options and a fan per room! Fun puzzles and games and books stocked up, as well as towels and blankets and a shiny and new kitchen ready for you to make a family meal. I will say - I think it must have been the storm, but we had thought that you could walk on the beach at low tide, but it was not possible during this stay. You may want to check that out if instant beach access is important to you. It was just a 3 minute drive to Manhattan State Beach which was longer and had more accessible areas of sand, so not a problem but not quite the roll-out-of-bed and sand play we had hoped for, but storm-watching was just as fun! Rockaway itself isn't our favorite town - we prefer Manzanita/Oceanside for accessibility to shops and walkability and a friendlier beach, but perfect for viewing!
