This lodge is fantastic! Spotlessly clean, very comfy beds and in a great location. The weather was poor during our stay which meant we spent more in the accommodation than we anticipated, our 6 year old daughter didn’t want to leave and asked if we could buy it and live there! Really looking forward to returning!

Just got back from a lovely weekend at Happy Days Lodge this place really is home from home everything you need and more location is great easy to get into Windermere & Ambelside will definitely return.

an absolute perfect little getaway for our family, this was our 4 month olds first holiday and it went as smoothly as it could of gone when travelling with a little one. Jennifer was a great host, responding almost immediately to any questions we had and the check in was super easy. only thing which was a bit difficult was trying to actually find the cabin when first entering the site but after a drive around for 5 minutes we found it and was inside. The location is absolutely perfect for what we wanted, 10 minutes drive in any direction and we were in any of the surrounding towns with loads of restaurants to chose from and loads of things to do. The lodge was the perfect place to come home to after a days exploring with ridiculously comfy beds and everything you need to feel right at home. all in all it was the perfect stay for us and we will hopefully be back in the near future.

A beautiful place to stay, really easy to find and surprisingly private location in the Bay. The lodge is so nicely decorated - we stayed just after Christmas and all the decorations really made it feel homely. The kitchen is very well equipped with everything you could need, easy to use oven, hob and dishwasher. The beds were very comfy with super soft bed linens. The shower was especially powerful which is always a bonus, with a nice bath if we wanted one. Perfect location in the Lakes - with a fantastic host who was extremely helpful - thanks again Jen. We will be back.
