This was an exceptional place to stay. The log cabin style was awesome and welcoming. The interior was well appointed. I have stayed at numerous vacation rentals in the Kenai-Soldotna area the past 8 years and this house was top drawer in comparison for the value. I was impressed with every aspect. It was very clean, well stocked.....just a very extremely comfortable place to relax. I would stay here on my next trip if this house is available. Alex's log cabin was charming and cute. The pictures do not do it justice! Alex's place was fabulous for our family of 6. Super easy check in with a mudroom for all your dirty outdoor gear. Beautiful details inside the house. Alex has thought of everything, from the fly tieing station in the master bedroom, to the grill, outdoor dining table, and seasoned wood for the firepit. We will definitely be coming back to stay with Alex again. This house is a little off the beaten path but still within a 10 min. drive to all of the action in Soldotna. Alex's place is well worth the few minutes extra drive.

We have always dreamt of coming to Alaska and this cabin did not disappoint. I can’t speak highly enough of this place. And the fishing…Wow! What’s great about this cabin is that it is in the perfect location, in the middle of the Kenai peninsula and close to all the activities and beauty Alaska has to offer. The host was very responsive and replied within minutes. The cabin was tastefully furnished and very comfortable. I am usually pretty judgmental about AirBnB rentals but honestly I could not have asked for a better place. Seeing the Northern Lights is next on our bucket list, but I think we’ll have to come back in the Winter for that.

What a find! This was one the best cabin we found on the Kenai Peninsula and just perfect for our family. A few minutes from town and the river yet extremely quiet and peaceful. The pics really don’t do any justice. The wood interiors, the solid log furniture and the greenery surrounding it make this place a true gem. It is obvious that everything in here is just brand new, from the well stocked kitchen to the linens to the comfy plush beds. They even have a freezer in the garage to store fish and a well stocked fly tying station for the guests to use…First time I ever see that in a rental! I wish we could have spent more time here. For the price you just can’t beat this cabin. Thank you Marcy and Alex for hosting us. Thank you moose for visiting the back yard. We’ll be back!
