Absolutely perfect for distilleries nearby - excellent accommodation and brilliant communication from a friendly and welcoming host. Would not hesitate to stay again when we are next on Islay!

This is a great location if you want to check out Ardbeg, Lagavulin, and Laphroaig. It’s also close to Port Ellen where you’ll find restaurants. The room is amazing and clean. Claire is super friendly and responsive!! I would stay here again!

Lovely location! Great walkability and only a few minutes from port Ellen. The walk to the distilleries was a great way to start the day and to see the island. Communication was easy and they were responsive, taking care of our concerns in a timely manner. Thanks for everything.

Wish we could have stayed here for forever. Views over the back paddock to the rolling hills and beyond, huge room and bathroom (with a bath!), and a short walk to everything important (including the distilleries). Claire was a wonderful host, with a hearty breakfast set out each morning. Recommended for all!

We had a wonderful stay at Claire’s place. It was walking distance from distilleries and she was so helpful throughout our stay with helping prepare our dinner in her kitchen to providing local recommendations. This place exceeded our expectations! Definitely recommend and would stay here again when we come back to Islay!
