Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. You can enjoy walks through the trails on Cinnamon Lake State Forest. Visit the Corning Museum of Glass and Rockwell Museum in Corning. Go up to Watkins Glen to check out the races and/or the waterfalls. Enjoy fishing at Catherine Creek and waterfalls in Montour Falls. Experience the peace of the country and the fun of the Finger Lakes Area. Cottage has living room, kitchen, breakfast nook, bathroom with washer and dryer and two bedrooms. One bedroom has a queen bed. The second bedroom has a bunk bed with twin on top/double on bottom and a twin trundle bed. Property borders Cinnamon Lake State Forest with over 1700 acres to explore. You can walk the 33 acre property, through fields and forest, and view the pond animals, horses, deer and other wild life. Enjoy reading on the deck, playing outdoor lawn games, making s’mores at your campfire or jump in the car for a quick trip to Corning or Watkins Glen.

Ours was a very short stay. Danyelle and Jim both made us feel very welcome, and were attentive hosts. It's a very nice property - private and secluded with beautiful forested surroundings.

Danyelle was an excellent host! The cabin was beautiful and the perfect size for me to prepare for my farm sanctuary event at watkins glen and then come back and do some work on my grad school paper. Everything was clean and neatly organized. Danyelle consistently responded checking in to see how I was doing and if I needed anything (which I didn’t because everything was already there). Great hosts! Peaceful location and everything. Danyelle even went above and beyond and left a very sweet welcome card for me. I loved it. Highly recommend! Will definitely be back to the sanctuary in the woods. :)

Property is in the country and you can only see neighbors when at the far edge of property. Cottage is near main house but no other neighbors.
You have plenty of parking with a turn around right in front of cottage. When you come down the driveway, pass main house to get to cottage.
