Easy access to hiking, biking, and paddling. A stocked kitchen allows for making your own food or adventure snacks or opt to take the short drive to Fonta Flora Brewery to grab a beer and pizza. The spacious outdoor living area is a great place for morning coffee or post-adventure relaxation. The property is situated a few hundred feet from Pisgah National Forest, Linville Gorge, in a quiet neighborhood, but only 20 minutes from downtown Morganton. The Lake James Linville Boat Access is roughly 3 minutes away. Fonta Flora Trail is located across the road and the Fonta Flora Brewery Whippoorwill farm is a short 5 minute drive. Talk about options! Before arrival, we are happy to help assist with trail directions, swimming holes and other local knowledge to make your stay a blast. Okay, now the cottage. It's stocked with a kitchen to cook and serve that family style meal on the back deck! The two bedrooms in the main house have a queen and double bed with dressers to keep your traveling things. The bathroom in the main house has a shower. The detached building has a queen bed and also houses the washer, dryer and half bath. Outside there is a spacious deck off the kitchen and also a front porch for you to relax after the day’s adventures. Bring your bikes, kayaks or paddle boards!
