What a gorgeous home! The location is beautiful, private, and peaceful. I loved the porch. Be sure to arrive with all that you'll need, because the home's secluded location is far from a grocery store.

Our stay at Greybeard was lovely. The home was beautifully designed and decorated. The hosts were responsive and accommodating. We spent lots of time in the back deck, enjoying the fire in the evening and the beautiful sunrise in the morning. I would highly recommend this place for a relaxing getaway.

Our family really enjoyed our stay at the cabin. Everything was as it showed in pictures… and very clean. The cabin was very close to trails as well so that was a nice bonus.

Gorgeous remote home, perfect for a getaway vacation. The space was so open and cozy! With the fireplace, porch gas fire pit, and outdoor log fire pit there was plenty of options for us in a cool fall night. The kitchen had absolutely everything we needed, even down to a vegetable peeler. The gas stove was a pleasure to use and we also enjoyed the grill on the porch. Advice to future guests is to input destinations into your gps while on their WiFi as service once you leave is spotty.

Greybeard listing was amazing. Although the gravel driveway was long, the view of the trees and mountains are worth it. Stephane was great. Left a bag full of toiletries and other necessities needed for a short stay. The home was very beautiful and high tech. Loved the tall ceilings as well as the color scheme. When I arrived, there was a notice that the fridge water filter needed to be changed, so I did not use the water. I did reach out for it to be changed. I was told it would be changed after my stay. Home is about 8-10 mins from Linville George side of Lake James. The home also has kayak and paddle board for use. Overall my family had a great time. We will definitely be visiting again.
