The town of Julian is extremely rural in nature, the "sticks" or the "boonies" if you may. Most homes are on wooded properties with nature all around. The closest populous town with city like accommodations is Greensboro, which is 15 minutes away and Burlington 20 minutes away. There are no street lights, but we have put in place illuminated markers for you to find the home. I would suggest checking in during daylight if you are not used to traveling in the country.
Being that we are in the deep "sticks", the area is susceptible to bugs, rodents and animals may be seen from time to time such as deer. We have a regular pest control maintenance and have provided repellants for your use.
Julian is the site for the new Toyota battery plant which happens to be just feet away from our home. Super convenient for anyone who conducts business with that organization.
There is a Dollar General Store 6 minutes away in Climax, a Gulf gas station 3 minutes away with a variety store attached and a Food Lion Supermarket 8 minutes away in Forrest Oaks.
Our popular Homeland Creamery is only 7 minutes away. It is a creamery that produces ice cream of varying flavors and other milk products from their own cow pasture.
