This recently rebuilt home is a 1 bedroom, 2 bathroom condo in a gated fishing community. Perfect for family or friends gathering. Located in Marathon Key. Within 1.5 hours to any of the Keys you may want to visit during your stay! The driveway offers parking for 2 standard vehicles. A patio with seating for four with a minifridge and deep freezer can also be enjoyed on the ground level. Step up the stairs to the private patio with seating area located at the entrance of the home. Enter the home with a smart-lock keypad to find a welcoming living room with a Queen pullout sofa and two swivel chairs. A full kitchen with granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, and is stocked with cooking supplies and utensils. A large kitchen island features 4 bar seats and a dining table perfect for 2. A full-size washer and dryer. A full bathroom with a walk-in shower and towels provided. The master bedroom is located upstairs and has direct access to a front facing balcony along with an in suite full bathroom, featuring a large walk-in shower. This bedroom features a King bed and a bunk bed with a Queen on the bottom and a Full on the top. Two large dressers to store all of your items. Bedroom and living room have plenty of common space for hanging out, relaxing, playing games, etc. All rooms have a flat screen smart TV. High speed Wi-Fi. Pool Towels Provided. My wife and I stayed for a week and had a greag time. Between the fishing off the docks (small hook and some fresh cut bait and you’re catching keeper fish all day and night long), the pool with a proper deep-end, and the location being so central to everything, I would recommend this place for every couple wanting a quick getaway. It’s clean, up to date, and private. Plus, the easy doorcode entry makes for super simple access and you never have to worry about losing the key when going to the beach! Overall 10/10, would stay again. If I have to nitpick anything, the kitchenware has seen better days. But then again, there’s so many good restaurants nearby, why cook when you can eat out? You’re on vacation, enjoy it! Or filet those fresh fish and make yourself some epic fish tacos.
What can I say....We reserved the same exact unit for the second time. I was happy with both the unit and the location and so why not. So now the question is "Would I do it again" and the answer is a resounding YES! Loved it and you'll love it too. Just book and and enjoy your vacay. You can't beat the Keys. Excellent property and pool. Steps from the ocean. No complaints. We would return.
Condo had all amenities as advertised. Good location within walking distance to several restaurants/shops. Complex was very quiet, mostly couples that owned/rented other condos. Waterfront area was nice for sitting and pool was a nice option to have on site. Would rent again. Hosts were very responsive before/during visit.

Located in heart of the Florida Keys! Whether you are visiting for a fishing trip, family vacation, or work retreat, Marathon Key is a great community to do so.
Quick walk to Walgreens, Dollar Tree and a few of the local restaurants. Approximately 1.5 hours to any of the Keys and approx. 1 hr from EYW & 2 hr from MIA.
Please, Drive slowly and with caution in the neighborhood. Many families walk or bike the property. Parking for 2 standard vehicles in the driveway under the home (no trailer parking). Free street parking is available along the service road outside the resort.
Can get around by bicycle, car (rentals available at FL Keys Marathon Airport), Uber/Lyft or bus.

Along with my partner of 11 years, we enjoy sharing our rental properties in Key West & Marathon with visitors of the Florida Keys! We have hosted over 2,000 nights since joining AirBnB. My sister and co-host, Kim, is a huge asset to help us continue to provide guests with quality vacations. My sister and I are long time natives of Virginia, born and raised on the Chesapeake Bay in historic Yorktown. My partner is from southern Arizona but he made Key West home! We welcomed our first child, a son, Max in late January 2022. We can’t wait to share our love of each other, boating, fishing and adventure with him. I enjoy traveling, especially to the Tuscany region of Italy. Our little man is a world traveler already! Along with my partner (Dave) and son (Max), we also have a beautiful fox-red British Labrador Retriever (Ginger) and a variety of 20 ducks.
