LOCATION Parkway Point is located between Blowing Rock and Linville/Newland off 221. 221 is a windy mountain road that connects to the Blue Ridge Parkway. Depending on the time of year you may experience some foggy conditions. ~10-15 minutes to Grandfather Mountain ~10 minutes to the Blue Ridge Parkway, 15 minutes to Linn Cove Viaduct (excellent views!) ~20 minutes to Blowing Rock (stores/restaurants/shopping) ~20 minutes to Linville, ~25-30 minutes to Banner Elk/Sugar Mountain ~30 minutes to Boone / Appalachian State ~ 25 minutes to Tweetsie Railroad ~Grocery Store around 20-25 minutes in Blowing Rock or Linville/Newland.
