Relax with the whole family at this peaceful rustic resort getaway! D.C., Richmond, Lake Anna, Colonial Beach, Fredericksburg battlefields, Kings Dominion, and the Raceway are all just a short drive away for vacationing fun! OR stay & play at the cabin with the hot tub, walking trails, firepit, outdoor games, bumper pool, arcade games, connect 4 hoops, theater room, and lots of places to relax! Boat & RV parking available. A little bug spray recommended. Other amenities are available (ask us!). Sitting on a beautiful oasis of over 20 acres, you'll find our little patch of paradise: complete with all of the amenities you might expect for a relaxing stay. Outside you'll find yourself surrounded by trees, feeling almost totally secluded from the rest of the world. In the midst of those woods though you'll have plenty of yard space where so much fun can be had, such as the hot tub (which seats up to 5), the firepit (some firewood included), multiple hang out spots (such as the screened gazebo & seating under the trees etc.), and the walking trails that meander through the forest (trails start to the right of the chicken coop). Can't forget about the yard games as well; there's volleyball (or badminton), the little climbing wall for the kiddos, throwing axes (not the sharp kind, think more like Nerf style), football, cornhole, and more! There's even a playhouse for the littles filled with some outdoor toys just for them to enjoy. Inside there's yet more features to love too! With the wood finishes throughout, the cozy fireplace in the family room, the roomy loft above, and the giant log beams overhead you'll really get that rustic log cabin feel all without having to leave those great modern luxuries we all crave behind (high speed internet is available btw). On the main level there's the fully equipped kitchen which offers all the regular appliances you'd expect plus ample counterspace for both serving and cooking (or laying out all the snacks so you can pick which one to eat first). The dining area and family room area just off the kitchen under the vaulted ceilings each have more than enough space for everyone to kickback or enjoy a meal together. The spacious main bedroom suite - complete with a king size bed, its own full bath and a walk-in closet - is also just around the corner down here too. Up in the loft is where you'll come across the other 2 bedrooms as well as the den/reading/work area which does have a printer if needed and the gaming hangout too which sports a PS4 & easy hookup if any other consoles are brought along (additionally there's also the kids' playroom filled to the brim with all sorts of fun just for them off the bunk room). Not to be outdone by the other 2 levels, there's the basement, which to some is perhaps the best floor in the entire home! There is so much to do down here, it's just amazing. There's the bumper pool table to start with (such an interesting way to play), the custom built connect-4-hoops set, the card table, and the arcade games machine all right there! We'd be remised though if we didn't mention the theater room; with plenty of seating for all, an 86" Smart TV, and a stocked snack bar conveniently located just inside you will absolutely love to lower the lights, kickback, and enjoy the show in style without even needing to pay for a ticket!
