The property is set up with yard games, a swing set and sandbox for the kids to enjoy, a fire pit for roasting marshmallows, and just a two minute walk to beautiful Lake Margrethe (only 220 feet away). A boat launch, ORV trails, golf, and mini golf are also nearby. (Note: Price is for all 3 cottages & bonus space) Eagle’s Nest is a unique property with 3 cozy cottages that are perfect for hosting your next get together...just a two minute walk to Lake Margrethe. **New for Summer 2024** - We now will be including a bonus space to make gatherings easier. The bonus space features a full kitchen, dining space, living room with a large screen tv, full bath with shower, and small game area with board games, foosball, arcade game, and more. Pictures to come this spring as the space is completed. Cottage Details: All 3 cottages have been recently updated with new drywall, fresh paint, new flooring, new toilets and vanities, new mattresses and bedding, new kitchen appliances, smart tvs, and new patio furniture. Additionally, each bedroom has a fan and a sound machine with nightlight. The Duplex, which is known as the Mason and Nolan Cottages, both feature 2 bedrooms with full beds, a half bath, a kitchenette that includes a fridge, sink, microwave, tabletop stove, air fryer and coffee maker. There is a small table and chairs as well as a futon plus a screened in porch with 2 chairs, a loveseat, and coffee table. Next to the duplex is the Kamden Cottage. This cottage is a little bigger and offers vaulted ceilings, two bedrooms (one with a full bed and the other with a twin over full bunk), a futon, an oversized club chair, a dining table and chairs for 6, and a new full bath with tub/shower. The kitchenette features a fridge, microwave, sink, tabletop stove, air fryer, and coffee maker. There is a large screened in porch with additional seating, including a dining table with chairs as well as a conversation area with a loveseat, coffee table, and two chairs. There is also a double shower house available just for the Mason and Nolan cottages for convenient showering or rinsing sand off. Each cottage has board games, cards, dice, and a TV to keep your family entertained in addition to the Eagle's Retreat Bonus Space. Outdoor Space: All 3 cottages are just 220' from Lake Margrethe, which is an all sport lake. There is 125' of shared beach frontage (shared only with the Eagle's Edge Lakehouse) as well as a public beach next to the frontage. If you want to bring your boat, there is a public boat launch just 1.7 miles away (5 minute drive) and we do have a dock available. There's a fire pit, swing set, yard games, kids bikes, a paddle boat, and kayaks are also available for more outdoor entertainment. Other activities nearby include golf, disc golf, biking, shopping, and a local farmers market.
