Kids can definitely bring their tents to enjoy the outdoor. - 14 min from popular Mono Cliffs Provincial Park - 7 minutes from popular Hockley Valley Resort for skiing (winter), spa and golf in the summer - 45 min from Airport Very secluded and private cottage like settings. Treed area all around our home. There are lots of shades in the backyard while enjoying our Heated Outdoor Pool. We have plenty of chairs and sitting areas in our cozy backyard. You can spend all day outside. Our outdoor pool will be closed after October 22, 2023. We will open it again in June of 2024 (weather permitted). Opening date TBA We welcome guests to use our Hot Tubs and enjoy the Fall and winter days/nights. Our cottage has gone through some renovations while still keeping the original charm of country life. Please enjoy this cozy and lovely cottage. We want to inform our guests that our cottage is in the woods and very peaceful. Please expect insects and mosquito around our 20 acre land and sometimes inside the house as well. Our pool will be clean every week. But since it's outdoor and surrounded by trees, there will be some leaves flying in the pool. We will leave a net out for guests to use to clear these items. We also wipe down our outdoor furniture and equipment. However it can get dirty or dusty very quickly. We will leave cloths for your group to wipe them clean as well. Even though the next door neighbour is far away but loud music and noise will echo very far. Please keep the music and noise lower for our neighbors. We have a bedroom and full bathroom on the Main Floor for guests with difficulties. We have 5 bedrooms with 9 beds in total and 3.5 bathrooms to be shared. Our basement has 2 entertainment area. One is a sitting area wo watch TV. Second area includes a Pool table and Ping Pong table for your gatherings. Our 2 dining areas are spacious enough to fit 16 guests all together. We have 2 large empty lands which is perfect for guests to bring their dirt bike and/or ATV to ride. Please ride at your own risk. - 13 minutes to Island Lake Conservative Area which is really great for fishing bass, pike, bluegill and perch - 14 min from popular Mono Cliffs Provincial Park - 7 minutes from popular Hockley Valley Resort for skiing (winter), Spa and golf in the summer - 45 min from Airport - 3-5 minutes from Bruce Trail parking for hiking - 13 minutes to Cross Country Ski called Mono Nordic Ski Club **** Linens are provided for guests BUT please bring your own towels. You are welcomed to use our Washer and Dryer but avoid using too much detergent or bleach - Our cottage water supply in on WELL. Please use our water sparingly. - We are also on Septic system. Please do not flush anything accept toilet paper into the toilet. Water pressure will not be very strong as well.
