Longer stays available for traveling medical professionals (2 people max) or parents visiting their college kids. It’s is also where you have a table and chairs for dining or work, plus the view of the lake is best from this room. 2 Yoga mats in the closet. ✔ 1 portable heater ✔ 2 ceiling fans ✔ 2 window fans ✔ 1 standing fan Drinking water is provided. However the tap water is sourced from a well. Well water has a distinct smell due to its high iron content. City folks may be surprised by it. It is fine for bathing, brushing your teeth, washing fruits and vegetables, and cleaning the dishes. Well water is very common in rural areas and around lake neighborhoods in Michigan. House rules: ✔ NO smoking inside ✔ Turn off AC or portable heater if leaving for several hours, ✔ NO PETS! NO exceptions. Proof of service animal may be needed. Bringing pets that are not certified service animals will incur a $125 unauthorized pet fee per pet. No parties or events but feel free to invite friends or family over to hang out, as long as they respect our house rules, the neighborhood, and the neighbors, but their pets are NOT allowed on the property. Coffee, tea, and water available for guests. Bed linens, bath towels, beach towels, paper towel, toilet paper, cleaning supplies, and a full-sized kitchen with drip coffee maker are provided during guest stays. NO on-site laundry for guests. A laundromat is located in downtown Brooklyn. There are also plenty of hooks for hanging towels or clothes to dry both inside and outside.
