We spent a lovely time at the Sunrise cottage! The house is beautifully appointed and decorated, so comfortable for our family of four and our pup. The beds are comfortable and the linen great quality, they even gave us towels for our dog :) There's plenty of room to hang comfortably inside. And tons of outdoor space to relax and take in the gorgeous views and wildlife. My favorites were having breakfast out in the deck, and sitting in the adirondack chairs by the fire pit in the afternoons while the sun came down. The last day two bald eagles were perched by the pier. So amazing! Kim and Toby were excellent hosts, available and responsive at all times. I stongly recommend this place if you are looking to relax and enjoy nature. We would definitely love to come back! Thank you Kim and Toby!!!

Our little family enjoyed our visit very much. We ate at Old Salty’s, drove down through Middle Hopper’s, enjoyed the Harriet Tubman museum, and watched numerous wildlife around the property. We loved our beds and hanging out together downstairs playing board games. We may stay here again in the future!

We enjoyed our stay over the New Year's Holiday at Kim's place. It was a secluded spot and my boys and I enjoyed sitting on the dock and looking out over the Honga River. Old Salty's was a great restaurant with friendly staff and a fantastic buffet for New Year's Eve.
