Great location in this private beach community. Majestic views and just steps to the beach. We had a great time!
This is a fantastic getaway! You are right on the beach. My 2 daughters and 3 and 6 y/o grand children had a blast combing the beach for sharks teeth. The house is spacious yet homey. Michael went above and beyond in his responsiveness, answering questions, and making us feel welcome.
We had the best time. The house is super cute, clean and Micheal was so helpful with the check in and out process. He left a lot of information on places to eat and how to comb the beach for shark teeth. We traveled all the way from Arkansas to have a little bit of rest and relaxation before continuing our trip to Pennsylvania. This place met all our needs and wants. From the sunrises to sunsets, beautiful sand and a super cute cottage. This place was worth the long drive we had and the price we paid.
We loved our stay! Watching the sunrise from the comfort of bed was incredible. Speaking of which the beds were sublimely comfortable! Kids loved the variety of games, books, and trampoline. We all loved the proximity to the beach for romping and collecting. One of us spent over an hour ogling the art pieces. Michael was super responsive and accommodating. Would love to stay here again!
We had a wonderful time at this home in Cove Point. We enjoyed walking along the beach hunting for shark's teeth... our son had some wonderful finds! I loved waking up in the morning to the sunrise out our bedroom sliding glass doors, sitting by the fireplace in the living room while looking out to the water, and sitting by the firepit late at night staring up at the moon and stars. The neighborhood was so quiet (we stayed in mid-February) and it was wonderdul! Two local recommendations - the Marine Calvert Museum is about a 10 minute drive. And about 25 minutes away (Broomes Island) is Patuxent Seafood. We picked up fresh oysters - freindly, good prices, and the oysters were deliscious! I know they have crabs too. With 2 bayfront king bedrooms, this home is perfect for a 3 generation vacation (Grandparents in the King bedroom on the 1st floor & family of 3-4 upstairs). I highly recommend Michael's home for your family trip to Cove Point.
