Ready to catch some Drum? Looking to slow down and escape reality, this is the place for you. Be prepared to relax at this peaceful cottage in South River. Bring your boat, your fishing and hunting gear. Launch your boat in the water right out our front door. The boat ramp is literally in the front yard of the cottage. Enjoy a cookout in the back yard BBQ area, a bike ride to the shore or hanging in the hammocks. The simplicity will not disappoint. We overlook the canal and sit in front of the boat ramp for launching your boat. We have a living room with a pullout sofa, a separate den, fully equipped kitchen, dining room for 6, king size principle bedroom, queen size bedroom, wrap around porch with polywood chairs, one full bathroom and one half bath/powder room. There are 4 tvs in the house. Please note Cell service is weak in South River but we do have Wi-Fi. We have bicycles to ride, hammocks to hang in, a community park nearby and very little traffic!

We enjoyed our stay in South River! The house was quaint and clean with a nice sized yard for the pups. The king bed was comfortable, and the kitchen was well-stocked. It was spacious and had all the amenities we needed. We appreciated the games and extra touches! The house is on a main road, but the traffic noise was minimal. The boat launch across the street was busy while we stayed, so there wasn't an opportunity to sleep in as the boaters were anxious to get on the water before sunrise. Lisa and Philip were very friendly and helpful, and have a very nice home to share. If we are in the Beaufort area again, we would stay here for all the comforts of home! Thanks again to the hosts.

Lisa's place was the perfect basecamp for a long weekend of fishing! House had all the amenities that one would need. The boat ramp in the front yard makes fishing logistics a breeze.

We had a great stay. The house was beautiful and Lisa was an amazing host. Great attention to detail and had everything you would need. The house was spotless and located in a cute quiet community. Great choice if visiting this area of Eastern North Carolina!

South River is a quiet waterfront boating community about 30 minutes from stores. There is a community park just down the road with a basketball court, kids toys and picnicking area. There are beaches tucked away nearby. The community boat ramp launching area is directly in front of our house. There is a $5 on-your-honor charge to use the boat ramp.

This neighborhood is very private and quiet. We are 30 minutes from Beaufort and Atlantic Beach. Parking is in the yard in front of the garage with plenty of room for vehicles, boats and trailers. Do not drive around the house or in the back yard.
