I have no words to describe the beauty that I saw. The house, the environment, the nature, and the owner Ashley herself, who is very attentive. Every detail is thought of and then fantastically arranged. All comforts at home. It was a really good decision to celebrate the birthday here in this peace and nature. Highly recommended 🙌

Ashley and JP, from the moment we pulled up, you made us feel welcome. You thought of everything to make our stay easy and comfortable. All we had to do was kick back and enjoy the beautiful place you've made and shared with us. And now we cherish it. By the way, I have to 'fess up ... I caught a little catfish to show April I could (mighty provider that I am). It took less than 10 seconds, and April giggled with delight, beamed at me like I was her hero. And we met Mr. Roy Baum in Covington. He made an origami crane for April, and we bought a pair of hand-carved pelicans that Mr. Roy signed for us. Two days — memories for a lifetime. On the way home, as we cruised over the Causeway, my sweetheart said with a sweet sigh, "It was a really good birthday, Biscuit (um, that's me). If you're looking for a quiet and relaxing place to stay away from the noise and excitement of New Orleans, look no further! This beautiful chalet was clean, comfortable, and perfect for our stay. Ashley and JP have clearly put a lot of thougt into this space! Although it is small, it feels cozy and welcoming. The simple touches, like having pet supplies, toys and books for children, labeled and well-organized cabinets, delicious muffins, and fresh eggs show the attention to detail that helps set this space apart from the rest. For a couple of outgoing introverts who wanted to experience the excitement of New Orleans' colorful nightlife but needed somewhere quiet and comfortable to relax and recharge afterwards, we could not have asked for a better house or hosts. Wether you are like us, looking to venture into New Orleans every day, or just looking for somewhere quiet to escape to, I could not recommend a better place to stay. This is a beautiful property! It was very comfortable with lots to do if you enjoy the country lifestyle. I enjoy fishing so the pond that was steps away from the front door was incredible. I actually caught a 5lb catfish as well as a bass and bluegill (released). Heaven for a country boy. My wife loved the peacefulness of the property and well as the unmatched beauty. We hope to return again next year. By the way, there are some great restaurants nearby!
