La Ferme is a stunningly beautiful farm - 100% nature, amazing views, fishing, a crystal clean river - but only about 10 minutes outside of Franschhoek. La Ferme is lying next to the Haweqwa Nature Reserve and neighbouring beautiful wine farms (Lynx, Topiary). Kids are welcome and will find a pool and a jungle gym. All cottages are beautifully furnished, with a fully equipped kitchen, wifi, aircons and - of course - a braai. Fishing in our dams is free for our guests (rental of gear is extra).

La Ferme is appx 10 min by car from Franschhoek, close to several wine farms. To get to La Ferme, guests must cross the neighbouring fruit farm (plums and peaches). The farm is located in a private valley, next to the Haweqwa Nature Reserve. The crystal clear Wemmershoek river is crossing the farm. Small kids must be under parental supervision.
A car is required to reach the farm. Appx 700 m are a bumpy gravel road, but can be done in a regular car (no 4x4 required).
We can assist with organizing a transfer if guests want to go out for dinner.
