We had a great stay at the Anchorage. The property was lovely, as pictured, and the hot tub was ready for use as soon as we arrived. Thank you for the fizz and shortbread on arrival too, a lovely touch!

Came up for my birthday weekend and we really enjoyed our stay! Lovely place which was tucked away and super cosy, the hot tub was great too. The hosts were really responsive and helpful with their instructions, and the pub attached was very friendly with good food too. Absolutely would recommend as a place to get away from life for a few days. 5 stars.

Great Lodge to stay at. Tony was easy to contact if we needed anything with quick replies. The ship inn bar was next door with great locals and staff and made me and my partner feel welcome. Vicky the bar maid was really nice gave us recommendations on what we can do in the area so thanks to her. The hot tub was pre heated for arrival with a bottle of Prosecco and logs in the log burner ready to use which was amazing.Will be back in the summer to stay again and look forward to it so thank you Tony and Jane and ship inn team

An amazing little, cosy find. Immaculately clean with everything we needed. We couldn’t hear the pub next door either during our stay. The private hot tub was wonderful and ready to use straight away. The bed was very comfortable with new fresh linen. The log burner was perfect for a cosy night in. We didn’t use the one in the bedroom, however. Highly recommended if you want somewhere private, cosy and quiet.
