Where do I start? Red and Mark were exceptional hosts, making our stay in their beautifully located home in Port Jefferson a delight. Their residence is conveniently close to restaurants, shops, and scenic spots, all within walking distance. The room provided a quiet, cozy retreat, and it was evident that they put a great deal of care into every aspect of the decor and comfort, exceeding our expectations. We were pleasantly surprised by the breakfast options—both the presentation and the delicious food. It's clear they put a lot of thought into ensuring our satisfaction. Beyond the aesthetics, room comfort, and culinary offerings, spending time with Red and Mark was a highlight. One evening, we shared pizza and conversation for hours, feeling as if we'd known them for years. They were engaging and fun to be around. Additionally, they graciously allowed us a late checkout, giving us more time to explore the town. Our visit was truly memorable!

Where do I begin by describing this amazing experience? This lovely property is conveniently located near downtown Port Jefferson. We were greeted by the lovely couple who made us feel right at home. The decor is exquisite with every detail well thought out, right down to the music. Our room was absolutely gorgeous! Near our bedside, was the sweetest welcome note along with the basket of goodies. Breakfast was served each morning with freshly squeezed juices, lovely teas coffee, and many breakfast options. The best part was; the owner of the property, thoughtfully joined us for breakfast where she made us feel like family and shared recommendations. The owner, Red, recommended the most fantastic activities, shopping, and restaurant destinations within walking distance. This comfortable, serene, exquisitely appointed property along with the gracious hospitality of the hosts made our trip so much more memorable and enjoyable! We will be back!

This was by far the best Airbnb experience I’ve ever had. As a Super Host myself, I know how much work it takes to give guests a quality experience. Ulrika and Mark far exceeded my expectations. They are welcoming, gracious people who thought of every detail. What a pleasure it was to come back each night and be warmly welcomed. The house is immaculate! The bed was so comfortable. Ulrika even provided turn down service. I am perhaps the world’s most fussy traveler, and I could find no fault here. I was going through a major life transition as a new retiree, and I needed a place that was beautiful, welcoming, and flat-out wonderful. That’s what I found staying with Ulrika and Mark. Nothing was too much trouble. They even let me store dinner leftovers in their fridge. Plus bonus- they are well traveled interesting people and very accepting of others. Our conversations were always delightful and insightful. I look forward to staying with them again. They easily earn my highest rating!

The room felt very luxurious. The bed was comfortable. The shower was too--I liked the eucalyptus hanging in it for a good smell. The house and room both require stairs to access. Breakfast was tasty. The location is convenient to everything in Port Jefferson. The hosts were friendly but not overbearing.
