Rented this house for me and a group of friends it was very nice inside and out! The lake that the house is on is very clear and beautiful. I would definitely rent this house again

Our family thoroughly enjoyed the stay at Wildlands on Platte Lake. It is absolutely beautiful and has a great view and mini beach on Platte Lake. It was extremely well appointed and had everything we could possibly need. The kayaks and paddleboards, the large lawn area for games, screened porch for gathering and dining, and firepit were an extra plus. We made some terrific family memories there and are looking forward to coming back! Thank you to the family for making their beautiful cottage available to us. Lynn Spurr

The house was spacious; able to fit 11 adult males comfortably. The property was great with an awesome lake which was a great surprise. Would highly recommend.

A true GEM! This house is PERFECT for family vacations! Amble bedrooms and baths made for a very comfortable stay. The adjoining guest house is adorable, with 2 full baths of it's own! Such a pleasure when most cottages only have 1 or 2 bathrooms. The location is also impeccable! Very private with a large backyard, dock and a beautiful view of a Platte Lake. Easy access if you want to rent a boat and shallow enough for kids to swim. Also a great fire pit. Super close to Sleeping Bear Dunes and Traverse City, you really can't beat the location! Our only trouble was in the kitchen. A little small if looking to cook for a big group, and the fridge was spotty during our stay. I hope they swap out, it's a an easy fix! Aside from that, everything you could need was provided! 5 STARS! We would highly recommend and love to return! Enjoy :)
