Our family of 14 enjoyed a lovely vacation at John's home in Honor, Michigan. We were impressed by the thoughtful architecture (the focus on the lake; the open kitchen; the high windows that let in light and let us watch the trees from bed in the evening) and it is so spacious! Everyone fit comfortably in five bedrooms and still had the game room for ping pong matches. We had kayaks brought to the house by a rental company and enjoyed kayaking on the lake. Our children loved making smores at the firepit on the beach and lying on the deck and the floating raft in the sun. The house is only seven minutes from Platt Beach where we watched gorgeous sunsets and collected too many beautiful stones. A little farther afield, we rented bikes in Frankfort and went on a gorgeous 20 mile bike ride to Beulah and back. At night, you could see the Milky Way; the town has a 10 pm curfew for outdoor lights to help with light pollution. We are so grateful to have had this time together. Thank you!
