Welcome to the Gallery, a meticulously renovated home built in 1800 with all the amenities needed for a relaxing getaway. The two-story apartment has its own entrance from the main house, and is only one block from Hallowell’s famous and fabulous Water Street. Enjoy our unique offerings such as original art for purchase, a vintage audio book listening nook, and a complementary gift certificate to Slate’s Bakery, conveniently just around the corner.

Snatched up this place last minute for watching eclipse in Maine. This place is a great place to stay at – really cozy and felt right at home. Would definitely want to stay more days if I could.

The perfect stay in Hallowell!! Best location right in downtown but still quiet and private, so cute and cozy, great hosts. This airbnb is a great representation of Hallowell’s charm. Loved the decor and artwork that you’re able to buy. Included a gift card to the best restaurant & bakery in town. 5 stars all around!

My dog and I had a lovely Christmas break at Becky's. The space is exactly as advertised, not huge but everything we needed. Becky was very quick to respond to my emails. I just wish the weather had been more cooperative!

Hallowell is Historic with the proverbial windows open; stuffiness has never been a problem for this picturesque village. Locals are friendly and funky, its downtown preserved and well partied, music and art are everywhere.
Hallowell’s ½ mile downtown strip of 12 restaurants and bars, coffeehouse, bakery, shops, and antiques are all within easy walking distance of the Gallery.
For a little city, outdoor adventures abound.
Bike, hike, stroll, or roll along the Kennebec Rail Trail.
Walk your kayaks to or launch your boat from the very close Hallowell Boat Landing and spend the day exploring the Kennebec River.
Hallowell’s famous Vaughn Woods trailhead is only a 15 minute walk along quaint streets with historic homes. Your four legged family members will also love the shady sidewalks on quiet streets for easy exercise.
