Location is perfect. A short walk to shops and restaurants. House is a bit dated inside. The beach is more rocky than it shows it pics, so we drove to other nearby beaches where there was more sand for the little ones, and room to run around. Overall, great house to host families.

The house was everything we were hoping for... beautiful views, very nice interior, well appointed, goofy TV set up with internet tv, not cable but since my kids were there they got it figured out pretty quick. Although I never met the manager as my daughter from San Diego was the first one to arrive, prior communications were perfect. he was timely and very polite. He was thorough as the house has many light switches but provided for perfect ambiance. We inquired about fireplaces on night one and was told he'd get us a high chair but never heard back from him. In all defense we may have attempted to contact on a different line and it was xmas week. Not a big deal as the views from everywhere in the house were beautiful. Wish we knew there was an additional apartment in the house. Never saw anyone but would had rented that to very my wife's in-laws. Also to get to bedroom #4 you have to go through the garage and the upper bunk room has no door. Just FYI. Rating: AWESOME!!!!

This Moonlight home is perfect for a group with lots of room and views in all directions. The open main floorpan was well appointed with generous seating options inside and out. The master bedroom is the crown jewel of this home with floor to ceiling windows and bed linens that are top quality along with seating area and giant master bathroom & tub for 2. The top balcony had beautiful views and very comfortable sofas. The fireplaces did not work but did get serviced as well as there isn't an umbrella on either deck for shade. This home is full luxury and we would love to stay again-super hosts too!

What a view!!! I can’t say enough about how amazing the views are from almost every room in the house. We stayed here over thanksgiving, and I was lucky enough to get the master suite. Floor to ceiling windows overlooking moonlight beach. We saw dolphins, beautiful sunsets and the sound of the ocean crashing at night and in the morning was amazing. Also a highlight was the open living room, kitchen area. It was so great to have multiple spots to sit and eat. Also, there are spectacular views from that area. Three of the rooms have amazing balconies, all with seating areas to watch the waves. Kitchen was well equipped with two ovens, plenty of pots and pans, coffee machine and everything else you could think of. Hosts were very responsive and easy to communicate with. Best part other than the view was the location. You are a 2 min walk to the beach, and a 5 min walk to downtown Encinitas. We walked to lofty coffee every morning for a salted Carmel latte! great stay!
