The suite with a separate entrance is the entire second floor of a house. The quiet owner and her cat reside on the first floor. Our house is in the tiny historic hamlet of Port Ben which was once a bustling port on the Delaware Hudson Canal. We are located a short walk from the hiking trail along the old canal as well as other hiking trails. We are also a short walk to an old bridge which is closed to vehicular traffic. You can cross the bridge and walk down to the lovely Rondout Creek for fishing or swimming. You’ll have endless opportunities to explore the great outdoors during every season. We are near farms with U-Pick possibilities from spring to fall, farmer's markets, antiquing, great restaurants, breweries and wineries, festivals and other activities.
