With espresso and a good book, start your morning by walking around the lush property to find the perfect fruit tree to sit under and catch up on some reading. Afterward, join the rest of your entourage at the kitchen's cozy breakfast nook, where soaring mountain views will inspire an exciting day. Later in the evening, throw a log or two on the fire and settle into the ultra-spacious, 20-foot ceiling living room to sip wine from a local vineyard and enjoy the sunset. When you're ready for adventure, set out on a hike starting at the nearby trailhead of Santa Paula Canyon, where your trek will unveil breathtaking waterfalls and the famous "punchbowls." After your journey, head to downtown Ojai and embrace their village-like city center's organic, artistic, and locally-owned ethos. Explore eclectic galleries, the Museum of History and Art, and shops selling intricate handcrafts. My now-wife and I celebrated our wedding at this beautiful Ojai home, and wow, we were able to create the most unforgettable experience for ourselves and our guests. We stayed the weekend and hosted our families across the main house and guest house. While it rained during our stay, we were able to stay cozy in the main living room with a fire going. The kitchen was unbelievable - having several amenities we did not expect, like a heating drawer, wine fridge, multiple fridges, a huge bartop for serving dinner from, and so on. The master bedroom and bathroom was superb, with a shower and steam room all in one. For hikers, the property is gorgeous to walk in the mornings, and you'll be sure to catch an amazing sunset or two while you're here. Not to mention, our host Sandy was so responsive to us this entire trip leading up to the wedding, making sure we had everything we needed - and it was never an inconvenience. Five stars - we will be back!

This house was fabulous. We had a group of 14 people and it felt spacious with no lack of views or comfortable places to sit. The kitchen was perfect for cooking for everyone and had plenty of everything we needed to cook in every meal. The beds were very comfortable and there was plenty of towels for people. The host was very responsive and helpful, too. Wonderful stay.
This home is stunning and the surrounding property is gorgeous and peaceful. Our family loved the large open great room and kitchen with the most beautiful views. It was perfect for our large family gathering. We also had several children and teens so the guest house was the perfect for them. We had a few questions for Sandy during our stay and she was very responsive and helpful. We look forward to staying here again in the future.
