You will have full PRIVATE use of the below, no areas will be shared, they are solely yours to enjoy in privacy. For your convenience, we have an on-site manager with their own separate living quarters. The castle was extraordinary and was a truly unforgettable stay for us. Phil is an amazing host who is welcoming and friendly, ready to share captivating stories about the building's rich history with my partner, who is passionate about engineering and architecture. The castle has exceeded our expectation and is even more stunning in person than photos, especially in a sunny day. Interior space and layout is well designed and impeccably clean, equipped with all the amenities we needed. We enjoyed every aspect of this weekend getaway - will definitely come back again.

My wife and I had the best time staying at Philip's Castello. The place is simply stunning and we wish we had more time to enjoy everything. Philip was an excellent host and instructions for check-in were clear and straightforward. Rangiora is a short throw away, making the place easily accessible. Highly recommend the stay and would return in a heartbeat.

Vi sov här 1 natt, hade en underbar tid. Helt otroligt boende, så stort så man knappt hittar ut. Skulle absolut stannat längre om vi kunnat. Rekommenderar definitivt till andra. Och Philip var en bra värd, fanns där om man behövde få svar på något. Och välkomnande oss fint.

Located on the east of New Zealand’s South Island and bordering Christchurch city, North Canterbury is an internationally renowned destination for wine and food.
The region is home to 90 + vineyards, most of them independently owned by a close-knit community of local families. With some of the country’s most diversified land formations, from the volcanic Banks Peninsula to the clay and limestone soils of the Waipara and Waikari valleys, the region lends itself to highly varied and interesting soil types. Concentrated and expressive wines are grown here – particularly Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Riesling.
Only 20 minutes north of Christchurch’s hustle and bustle is a region of vast natural beauty, slower-paced country downs, and beach settlements offering their own unique experience.
