Welcome to our island - A charming Maldivian island with some of the nicest beaches in the North Male Attol region. We are located a scenic, 40 mins speedboat ride from Male/Velana International Airport.
This guide was prepared by me to help you explore the best parts of this friendly island:
🏝️ Go to the bikini beach - One of the most beautiful beaches in this part of Maldives. Bring your snorkeling gear as the house-reef is very healthy and excellent for fish spotting and coral exploring (best snorkeling point is past the visible concrete blocks). Beginner level.
🏝️ Watch the sunset from the west side of the island - Directly facing the west side, this is one of the best places from where to catch the golden hour. Order some "hedhika" (local baked snacks that can be sweet or savoury) from nearby cafe and enjoy the show
🏝️ Go to sunset beach - Nice beach with a lovely open-air cafe. Good place to have a coffee (or meal) infront of the beach. Beautiful, big lagoon for swimming and IG worthy pictures. Hammocks and beach chairs available for the public. Another nice beach from which to enjoy the sunset.
🏝️ Snorkeling at West Beach - One of the nicest snorkeling spots in the island. Start at the end of the beach (near the rocks/divider) and swim past the sea-grass, towards the waves. Half way you will see corals and fish life begin to appear. Lots of small, colourful fish and corals to be spotted. Intermediate level.
🏝️ Try night fishing - One of the most relaxing and must-try excursions on our list. Hop on a boat just before sunset, cruise around watching the sun go down as we find a spot to anchor the boat, and learn how to catch fish the Maldives way - under the stars! A magical experience. Take what you catch and ask your hotel/restaurant to cook it for you.
🏝️ Go to the floating bar - Great place to enjoy a drink! Once there, relax on the front deck while watching the stars, or if its lively, enjoy some music and party vibes at the main bar area. Nice place to watch the sunset as well.
🏝️ Grab a coconut water from the Coconut stall - Located in a small street, run by a friendly local man where you can buy fresh coconut water. Always refreshing on a hot day!
🏝️ Star gazing at sunset beach - This beach gets pitch dark at night (but safe) and one of the nicest points from which to get lost watching the milky way!
🏝️ Watch baby sharks and stingrays at night - When sun falls, hunters come out to prey! Walk along the bikini beach at night and you might be able to spot sting rays and baby sharks directly from the shore. Bring your flashlight!
🏝️ Spot giant stingrays from the harbour - Any time of day, you may be able to spot a group of massive stingrays by just walking along the harbour
