Unique place for a forest retreat in a remote and secluded location. Enjoy isolation, privacy and quietude whilst surrounded by nature. Sleep to the sound of our waterfalls and the water stream that crosses the property, and wake up to crickets and birds. During the warmer months it is great out, under the sun or the soothing shadow of one of our 70 species of trees, whereas in the colder months you’ll enjoy being inside looking at the alluring landscape that keeps changing throughout the year. The accommodation area is 160 square metres, while the whole property is around 2 acres. We have two bedrooms, one with a King-size bed and one with a double bed, a full bathroom with a bathtub for two, a toilet, a very cozy space for reading and relaxing, a dining and living room, and 2 balconies. All rooms have windows or french windows facing outdoors, including the kitchen and both bathrooms (which are fitted with mirrored glasses). Outside you will find 4 sun loungers, 6 chairs, two tables and two sun umbrellas. Our kitchen if fitted with sink, dishwasher, refrigerator, top-stove, electrical oven, microwave oven, toaster, Nespresso coffee maker, electrical boiler, blender, and a hand blender (you will also find salt, sugar, oil, olive oil, vinegar, napkins, and kitchen paper — in case you are an espresso lover do not forget to bring Nespresso pods).

The time spent at the Nest was amazing. The accommodation is completely yours and absolutely nothing can interfere with the holiday. It was a pleasant surprise for us to have literally our own waterfall. The living room is incredibly cosy, the fireplace and vinyl player made our evening gatherings especially memorable, it's an incredible memory for life! The host Armando was very helpful and caring, gave us lots of good recommendations and was always ready to help us with anything we needed. This is by far the best place I have ever been to at this point in my life and I would definitely recommend not to mix and match if you like a quiet and private holiday.

Our stay at Armando's place was peaceful and really calm. It was Nov and started to become rainy -- but the trip only became better. The view was beautiful: foggy forest, pines, red leaves. Like in a fairytale! The temperature inside was comfy. Despite the fireplace being out of service, for us, it was a great place to spend time with family and explore Porto, Viseu, and Douro Valley.

Wunderschöne Landschaft! Wir hatten das komplette Haus und den Garten für uns alleine. Außerdem gibt es eine sehr süße Katze. Wir hatten eine wunderbare Zeit.

Amando es un anfitrion estupendo, muy atento a cualquier necesidad y detalle. La casa es fantástica, es unica, muy tranquila, espaciosa, llena de vegetación y jardines, zona de cespeh hamacas. Es muy tranquila y silenciosa, solo se oyen los sonidos de la naturaleza y esa cascada y arroyo que pasa por la propia casa. Cuesta salir a ver alrededores porque en la casa se está genial.
