Come relax & unwind at Spruce Studio at Island Pond. One of two cabins on 8 wooded acres located minutes from one of the best beaches in Maine! Built with love & attention to design, comfort & quality. * 2 min. to Reid State Park Beach * Outdoor Shower * 2 min. to Five Islands * Family owned & operated * Screened porch * Fire Pit * Pond * Sustainably Built * Custom Cabinets & Couch * Fast Internet * Rain shower head * Heat & AC * Fresh air exchange * Smart TV * Automatic generator *The studio is one level & is 461 square feet including the relaxing screened in porch. *The living/sleeping area includes a custom birch couch with leather cushions and a queen size Tuft & Needle mattress. *Out the living area through a reclaimed slider is the screened in porch. Relax or enjoy a meal out here with a view of the forest. *Our custom small kitchen has an induction stovetop, large convection toaster oven large enough for a small chicken or pizza, mini fridge with freezer & small dishwasher! *The bathroom has all the usual bathroom items plus a closet with an area for hanging clothes as well as a large shower with rain head. *From the studio you can look through the trees to the pond and also walk right out to it and sit by the water. *Spruce studio was designed and built with love by my partner (a local builder with over 30 years experience) & his talented crew.

This is my second time staying at Sarah's beautiful, restful Airbnb! I'm a writer and this is the perfect writing retreat. I sleep so well in the comfy bed and love walking in the area. Reid State Park is just down the street and the nearby Morse Pond trail is sublime. I look forward to staying again soon!
What can I say? This is one of the best AirBnBs I've ever stayed at. The space was beautiful, clean, and well-designed. Sarah was a great host who genuinely thought of everything. If you're looking at the pictures and thinking, "Wow, beautiful!" like I did, just know it's even more gorgeous in person. I'm grateful for my time here and can't wait to go back!
Perfect spot in the woods with outdoor fire, small pond, beautiful home, and awesome albums and books to enjoy! Very clean with lots of attention to special details (e.g., s'mores kit, good coffee, park pass, basket of treats). Spent time walking on the beach down the road and a great hike to Morse Pond. Wonderful Italian bakery in Bath.
This was overall a great stay. The listing description was very accurate and had all the needed amenities. It was fun using the record player, playing bored games, and setting up fires. I can’t recommend this place enough and to top it all off the host was super responsive and friendly! Would definitely come back!

*We are at the crossroads of Reid State Park (Beach) and Five Islands. We are a 2 minute drive from both! Enjoy a day on the Beach or a hike at Reid State Park. and then a quintessential Maine meal overlooking the ocean at beautiful Five Islands at Five Islands Lobster Co (seasonal)!
*You will be 15 minutes from Downtown Bath where you can explore the historic town, shop and eat from a variety of restaurants and cafes. You will also be 55 minutes from of Portland, 35 minutes from Freeport & 25 minutes from Brunswick.
There is no public transportation in Georgetown. We suggest having a car and if you like to bike, you can easily ride your bike to Reid State Park and Five Islands from the cabin.

Born in Brooklyn, raised in coastal Maine, I am a product of both worlds. We returned to Maine 18 years ago after many years in San Diego, Portland OR, Asheville NC & NY & settled in Georgetown. We love it here! Luke & I are raising our teenage son who is also disabled in this special place. We almost always stay in Airbnb houses because the home setting is important for our son & we have had fantastic experiences. Excited to now be hosts!
