The pandemic has brought strange times but one positive was being able to spend an entire month at Aaron's place, it was magical. The home has plenty of space to sprawl out and do your own thing or gather together, both inside and out. We spent most of our time at the pool, which is private, warm, and well maintained. The shaded seating was plentiful and covered in wisteria, making for a great place to hang out, it even has a misting mechanism and power outlet to charge your devices. There is also a big chest pool floaties and goggles for use. There is a new hot tub not attached to the pool but nearby, which is great because we didn't have to heat it on demand, it was always hot. The home is spacious and well maintained with nice touches throughout. We cooked most of our meals for the whole month and the kitchen had everything we needed to do so, including baking a bday cake for my daughter. There were plenty of towels for pool and bath, as well as shampoo, conditioner and soap for all our post-swim showers. There are plenty of games and books if you're spending time inside in addition to a nice large TV with giant sofa and all of the popular streaming services, including Disney+, we ended up binging Mandalorian and Marvel movies! The property is well maintained with gardeners and a pool person coming regularly to keep everything in tip top shape. The barn is filled with workout equipment and a fun ping pong table and arcade style basketball game. There is a creek that runs along the back of the property, which we all explored. We found tadpoles, frogs and fish. Around the house, my kids found garter snakes, preying mantis', and lizards to name a few, it was so fun for them. But the biggest bonus for my kids were the pets on the property. The caretakers next door tend to them so we were simply able to just enjoy the company of Maya, the sweetest yellow lab, and the 4 cats. Being located in between Lassen and Shasta made for some great day trips. Downtown Redding is not too far and has all the shops and restaurants you need but if you need to make a quick run, there's a good grocery and few other shops and gas stations in Palo Cedro. Lastly, Aaron was very responsive to any questions I had throughout the month, which were not many. I'll forever have the vision of the dragonflies and hawks flying overhead as I floated in the pool with my family. I highly recommend this oasis!

Our group of eight spent three weeks here this summer and thoroughly enjoyed it! The house is beautiful with a great layout, as it has a flat in the basement which made it perfect for the grandparents to stay and have their own space. The house is well stocked with everything you could need for your stay and is very comfortable and spacious. The outside area is exceptional with a great pool and hot-tub and plenty of places to sit and relax in the sun or simply enjoy the surroundings. Our teens loved the barn with everything they needed to have a workout or to play some table football. We all loved walking down to the creek to enjoy some peace and look out for local wildlife and my daughter fell in love with the cats who would often follow us down there! The house is in a really good location, just a ten minute drive from the nearest grocery store and other local amenities. It is also only twenty minutes from Redding and the perfect base for visiting Bethel Church. The local area is lovely as well, with Whiskeytown Lake being worth a visit for a swim and picnic and Shasta Lake where we hired a boat to do a little bit of fishing and swimming. Lassen National Park is so beautiful, we even managed to find some snow there in the middle of the summer! Aaron and Alex were both great at keeping in touch with advice or any help we needed. We would all love to go back here one day.

This was our second time staying at Aaron's place and it did not disappoint. Aaron was gracious and very communicative throughout our stay. The kitchen and gym are very well stocked. The pool area has ample seating and shade with an added bonus of misters! The house is very clean and there are lots of spaces to relax, read, play games, play piano or just sit and watch a movie. This place is a true gem!

Aaron’s space is exactly as described. It is a ranch house down a track road. The place is perfectly set up for a family and extended family. We are a family of 5 plus 1 set of grandparents. We spent a lot of the time at the house, especially by the pool as it was hot! There is a good amount of shade by the pool so it made it easy for us to watch the children when they were swimming. The kids loved the diving board and the slide. Plus the 2 swings in the garden. Nikki and Alex - the caretakers are lovely and are there to answer any questions you have. Of course the kids enjoyed getting know Maya and they especially loved the 4 cats who roam around. Aaron is really responsive and a great host. We would highly recommend anyone to stay at his house.

Aaron's house is fantastic, the pool and outside area are amazing. It was pretty hot in Redding the week that we went but we were able to stay cool with the pool and the misters. The dog and cats that are on the property are all very friendly and made our vacation that much better. Alex and Nikki were both very friendly and very helpful.
