Reconnect with nature at this unforgettable escape. Only 4 minutes to downtown Banner Elk but you’ll feel a thousand miles away. Surrounded by green fields, trees and Mountain View’s. Your space is a brand new private loft in the upper level of our barn. It features one large room with queen bed, kitchenette, full bath and a living and dining space. There is a deck to enjoy the beautiful woodland view. We entertain many deer, wild turkeys and beautiful birds daily. There is abundant space to allow your dog to run freely and you can hike up the back of the property to some old Native American ruins.

Dianna was a very gracious host. Everything was wonderful, we will definitely be back.
If I could give Dianna’s place 10 stars I would. A cozy space with everything we needed, close to town, hiking trails, and state parks. The property itself was a fun, relaxing place to hang out. Our pup loved running around unleashed, and I’m pretty sure he wanted to stay with Dianna and her husband. They are lovely people and fantastic hosts. We hope to be able to come back soon.
This place was beautiful, very clean, private and had everything we needed. Our loved pup loved our host and so did we. It was more then we had anticipated. We will be returning.

Our neighborhood is very wooded and secluded. There are other houses but you can’t really see any from our property. Our log home is on property and we do rent out the lower level which is Wood Song Suite but each space is private. We have a 15 acre property. You can walk the road and enjoy a beautiful stream that runs alongside it.
Plenty of parking available for you on property. Car is best to have to get around.

I lived in Grand Lake, Colorado & hiked all over the Rockies, Machu Picchu in Peru, Cinque Terre in Italy, Zugspitze in Germany. My husband, Donny is a Seafaring man & loves to sail so we have lived on a sailboat, home schooled our 3 boys a couple years & sailed to the British Virgin Islands & Bahamas.
