a lovely lodge with beautiful views, convenient self check-in. only 15 minutes from Exeter city centre with lots of shops and restaurants nearby. only downsides were that as soon as you drive in there were rubbish bags and overflowing bins being the first thing you see, lots of very bad potholes to get to the lodge too which caused a stone to be stuck in one of my wheels and left my car being undriveable without causing damage until it was removed by breakdown recovery, though we did mention this to staff and the next day they tried to fill some of the potholes in - staff were very friendly and helpful. there were some ‘leftover’ faeces left in our toilet when we checked in, and the bathroom floors hadn’t been cleaned, but other than that it was tidy. we were unable to access the lodge by the front door due to being unable to unlock the door so had to access through the back patio doors. based on the issues we had i wouldn’t have paid as much as i did, but we still had a lovely time

Issue with the WiFi when we arrived but was rectified hastily so was very pleased. The staff at the club house bar and restaurant are very friendly and helpful and the food is good also! There is a pub just down the road The Travellers Rest which we highly recommend

Nice location . Cosy little change . Bit hard to manage in hit summer temperatures. Very communicative hosts

Simply a great find! A short drive to both Exeter and Exmouth, the property was even better than the photos. We loved it!

Exellent clean,cozy accomadation Quiet and beautiful surroundings Easy access nice village shop...Only thing is we didnt manage to use the Hot tub ,because It was been used by some one before we arrived
