Everything about the property was exactly how it looked and felt like through the photos - fuzzy, warm and beautiful! Mr Lokendra and Kamla Di ensured a homely stay and the consistent communication helped us plan our trip better. In fact, we had two extra guests at the last minute and unlike other heard experiences, the owner accommodated them with no additional tantrum! Thank you for the lovely experience. Fully recommend 10/10 :)

I have spent 2 days at this home, and I felt it like 2 hrs, the home is well maintained and built, it has everything one would need. Col. Lokendra Sir made sure that we had everything which we need and he was just a call away for anything. Would definitely visit this place again.

*If you really love nature this is the right place to stay...* We have thoroughly enjoyed our stay at WhistlingThrush Chalet. It is extremely comfortable with stunning views. The cottage has been carefully designed and lots of extras were included, in fact everything that you may need during your stay. It surpassed all my expectations… brought back so many happy memories and created new ones. Looking forward to visit here again. In addition to that, the caretaker(kamla didi) was also amazing. She helped us identify nearby scenic places and also brought us authentic pahadi food ( must try pudina ki chatni)

We visited Whistling Thrush as a family of 4 adults and 1 pet dog and our experience was awesome. Positives: - The property is very well built and super clean including washrooms. Bedrooms are comfy. Kitchen is stocked up. Living room is amazing too. Pictures don’t do justice, it’s an amazing quaint little cottage in a village. - It’s very conveniently located and near by to Bhimtal, Naukuchiyatal and Nainital. - Colonel Chauhan was super helpful and proactive in checking up on us. He also shared a list of things to do, contacts which was very thoughtful. He also sent us Holi goodies. (Wow) - Kamla ji, the cook was super nice. She made lovely breakfast for us on all 3 days and also helped with the bonfire. Charges for both are super nominal. - Car can be parked inside the gate. Negatives: None Finding the location after dark will be challenging so plan your arrival before that. From the main road, it’s a 5 minute off road approach so keep that in mind. My i20 had no problems though

Awesome Place to stay. Kitchen was squeaky Clean with all the utensils to even make your own food. Everything was in pristine condition. Would recommend this place for sure.
